FAQs: Everybody has a question or two, right?

So, we hope you’ll find the list of questions we are frequently asked here at Color My Bath helpful. If you have a question that is not represented here, please use the form on our talk to us page and we will answer your question as quickly as possible.

Do your products stain the tub?

No. Our products, used as directed, will not stain porcelain or typical bathroom surfaces. Care should be used to not allow wet tablets to sit on any surfaces.

Will your products stain my kid’s skin or hair?

No. Again, Color My Bath products are completely safe and non-staining. You may confidently allow your child to soak and play in every Color My Bath fizzy, fun, colorful bath they create. Our products use tested and approved ingredients.

What if my child gets some colored water in their mouth or eyes?

This is more a question of “when” than “what if”—right? So, rest assured that a bath richly colored with our fizzy, fun tablets is as safe as a tub filled with nothing but plain water. Great care was taken in the formulation of each of Color My Bath’s products to ensure they would be completely safe and pH balanced in order to not irritate eyes or skin.

What if I see a ring left in the tub?

Color My Bath and H2O la la! will not leave residue, rings and or stains in the tub. However, a small amount of color can adhere to soap scum, but cleaning the soap scum will eliminate the issue.

How many tablets do I need to use per bath?

8-10 small tablets will richly color the water in a standard sized tub with about 8” of water. However, pretty, sheer colors can be made by using fewer tablets or bold, deep shades can be achieved by using more. We recommend around 10 tablets per bath, but using fewer or more tablets is at the discretion of the parent or care giver.

What if my child has skin sensitivity issues?

Color My Bath products are pH balanced and because we never add soaps or fragrances, there are no “extra” ingredients that can irritate young children’s sensitive skin.

What are the primary colors?

Primary colors are the three naturally occurring pigments that, when combined with one another, create all other colors. The three primary colors are red, yellow, and blue.

Why don’t you include tablets in other colors like orange or purple?

We chose to package our bath products with tablets only in the primary colors so that you and your child could have the fun of creating the vast rainbow of secondary colors! Visit our color mixing page for tips and ideas—and if you create a formula for a great new color, send us a note to let us know how many tablets of each primary color you used to make it!

How old should a child be before using Color My Bath products?

Our tablets are rated 3+ because of the tablet size. Children under 3 should NOT be allowed to handle the tablets and parents and caregivers should keep product jars out of children’s reach. Color My Bath recommends adult supervision during bathtime.

How do Whiz Kids tablets work?

Whiz Kids is designed to work as a potty training tool. Kids drop a tablet in the potty to give them some control over the process of learning and to make using the big potty more fun and less scary.

How does Whiz Kids differ from Color My Bath or H2O la la!?

Whiz comes in fun shapes of hearts, diamonds, and stars and is formulated in the secondary colors of orange, purple and green.
